The Senior Section is
the section of Girlguiding UK for young women aged 14 to 26. You can become a
member of the section any time on or after your 14th birthday, and your
membership ends on your 26th birthday.
Unlike other sections of Girlguiding UK, there are lots of ways that you can be
a member of this section. You could become a:
- Ranger
- Young Leader
- Member of a Look Wider group
- Member of a Senior Section unit
participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme
- Lone Senior Section member
- In4mer
- Guide member of SSAGO
- Female member of LINK (providing you
are under 26)
- Appointment Holder (providing you are
under 26)
- Member of the Trefoil Guild (providing
you are under 26)
You might just fit one
of these categories, or you might fit many! Either way, you’re still a member
of the Senior Section and you can take advantage of the countless opportunities
that this brings, from representing Girlguiding Greater London Kent at
conferences, exhibitions and camps to starting your Queen’s Guide Award. How
many other groups give you that much choice?
